Surface Water Treatment Production of High Quality Potable Water
The National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) required a water treatment plant to upgrade existing operations and to allow provision of potable water to the site, adhering to the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
The water treatment solution is designed to treat river water high in Natural Organic Matter (NOMs) as the primary source. It will be supplemented with groundwater during dry spells.

Infinite Water supplied an integrated, turn key treatment solution for NPWS. The multiple-barrier treatment process features next-generation flat sheet ceramic membrane filtration technology characterised by its high-flux, superior mechanical & chemical resistance, and ease of maintenance.
The water treatment plant is consistently producing high quality drinking water to ADWG standards.
This solution, the second of its kind in Australia, provides valuable process insights to other councils and utilities looking for reliable and cost-effective solutions for their water treatment needs.
